Social Skate - 2 hours - Hoxton
All Skill Levels: Over 18s who have their own roller skates and want to spend some time working independently on their skills.
Join us for a 2 hour social skate, practice your roller skating, meet other skaters and share your skills.
The Roll Happy instructors will be there to keep everyone safe, but these sessions are self led so there won't be any formal teaching.
If you are completely new to roller skating we would recommend taking an Absolute Beginners class or Learn To Skate course first to give you some fundamentals to practice in the social sessions.
What to expect:
- Dedicated practice time indoors
- Beautiful smooth wooden floor
- A chance to meet other roller skaters
- Fun Roll Happy playlists to keep the vibes going
You must bring your own quad roller skates, protective wrist guards and knee pads. We are unable to teach you without these for your safety.
Requirements to protect our floors:
- Wheels must not be harder than 99A
- Jam plugs or toe stops are required
If you haven't replaced or removed any parts of your skates they will meet the above requirements.
Helmets and elbow pads are encouraged but not mandatory.
Wear something you're comfortable to move freely in, glitter and disco vibes are always welcome.
Bring a refiallable water bottle, all our venues have water refill stations.
